EMPLOYER PARTICIPATION
Over 200 employers will offer full time jobs and internships in most career fields and academic majors, including liberal arts, business, science and technical areas. (Some careers are generally not represented, such as education, advertising, public relations and the media.)

CANDIDATE PARTICIPATION
Students and graduates from any college or university who wish to work in the New Jersey area are welcome. Dress for interviewing and bring plenty of resumes. There is no fee.

Bring a pen, paper and folder/portfolio for holding resumes and writing while standing.

It is highly recommended that you have your resume distributed to all employers attending the career day via an electronic database sent to each employer one week after the event.

Submit your resume online from May 1, 2008 - May 31, 2008.

Have your word-processed resume ready for uploading (one-page preferred, 2-page max.).If you have difficulty uploading your resume using Internet Explorer, try Netscape. If you still have difficulty, email Janet at jbernard@rci.rutgers.edu with a copy of your resume and an explanation of the error.

WE WILL NOT COLLECT RESUMES AT THE EVENT FOR THE ELECTRONIC RESUME DATABASE. HOWEVER, BRING RESUMES TO GIVE TO THE EMPLOYERS.

You may attend the event without submitting your resume to the database. However, it is highly recommended to have your resume in the database sent to each employer one week after the event. You can upload your resume by clicking below beginning May 1.

FROM NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE:

• Take Exit 9; bear right out of toll booth for Route 18 North - New Brunswick.
• Merge left onto Route 18 N., cross over Route 1, and go straight through two lights (Paulus Blvd. and Commercial Ave.).
• Continue on Rte. 18 N., crossing over Rte. 27 and go over the bridge (Raritan River).
• Take the Metlars Ln./Rutgers RAC (Livingston Campus) exit onto Avenue E.
• Take the second left onto Rockafeller Ave. (you'll pass the Athletic Center on your left). Go straight through the 4-way stop sign, crossing Joyce Kilmer Ave. Take the first left into the "Zone L - Yellow" parking lot. Park in sections A1 - D1.
  

FROM ROUTE 1: Take exit "Route 18 North - New Brunswick" and follow directions above.

FROM ROUTE 287:

• Take Exit 9 for "River Rd./Bound Brook/Highland Park" & follow signs for Rutgers and Highland Park.
• Bear right toward River Rd. (Rt. 622 South). Merge left onto River Rd.
• Proceed about 3 miles, going straight through 5 lights.
• Go under the Rt. 18 overpass and turn left at the next (6th) light onto Rt. 18 North.
• Take the Metlars Ln./Rutgers RAC (Livingston Campus) exit onto Avenue E.
• Take the second left onto Rockafeller Ave. (you'll pass the Athletic Center on your left). Go straight through the 4-way stop sign, crossing Joyce Kilmer Ave. Take the first left into the " Zone L - Yellow" parking lot. Park in A1- D1.
  

BY TRAIN: Take NJ Transit (Northeast Corridor line) to New Brunswick. Exit the station onto Easton Ave. and turn right. At the light turn right onto Somerset St. Go one block and turn left onto College Ave. Proceed on College Ave., four long blocks. Brower Commons will be on your right, the Rutgers Student Center on the left. Walking time - about 15 minutes. (www.njtransit.com) Taxis available.
